The Opportunity
We're looking for a talented Content Creator to join our small, passionate team at a pivotal moment for the brand. This isn't a brief to maintain the status quo. We're evolving and we want someone who can help us bring a new creative vision to life across social and digital channels. You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager and founder to concept, shoot and deliver content that feels fresh, intentional, and true to where we're heading. What You'll Do
- Concept and create high-quality photo and video content across Instagram, YouTube and other social channels with a strong eye for brand aesthetic and platform nuance
- Shoot and edit content independently, primarily on iPhone and/or camera, with confidence in lighting and composition
- Test different content ideas, hooks and creative angles for organic and paid content
- Plan and capture content on brand shoots including BTS, social content, and campaign assets, making the most of every shoot moment
- Develop original content concepts and formats by building recognisable series and angles unique to the brand
- Stay across trends and know how to translate them for our audience
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager on campaign shoots and new creative direction
- Own the content calendar – develop and execute, planning ahead to maintain a consistent publishing cadence across channels while leaving room for reactive and trend-led content
- Support influencer/KOL content coordination where relevant
- Track content performance and use insights to inform what you make next
- Capture content at Pop-up’s, community events, and influencer events
- Concept, film and edit founder-led content helping bring our founder's voice and perspective to life across social formats
- Write scroll-stopping captions and short scripts that match brand / founder voice
What We're Looking For
- 2–5+ years experience in content creation, ideally within beauty, skincare, wellness or lifestyle
- Proven track record of creating strong content that stands out in a digitally crowded world
- A sharp instinct for pacing and rhythm, punchy hooks, tight cuts, and retention-driven editing that holds attention in a scroll-heavy feed
- Strong shooting and editing skills
- Experience with editing platforms (i.e DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Adobe Premiere Pro Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc)
- A genuine aesthetic sensibility and the ability to interpret and execute a brand direction
- Comfortable working independently in a small team environment
- Prior skincare, beauty or wellness brand experience is a plus
- Australian Drivers licence required
