What You’ll Do

** Content Capture (Field Work):
** Visit job sites 1–2x per week to film and photograph moves in progress, capturing high-quality video and photo content that showcases our service quality and customer experience.

** Video Editing & Production:
** Edit video content for social media using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut, or similar tools. Create engaging short-form content (Reels, Stories, Tik Toks) optimized for each platform.

** Graphic Design:
** Design on-brand graphics, infographics, and visual content using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.

** Content Strategy & Planning:
** Develop and execute a cross-platform content strategy for Instagram, Facebook, Linked In, and our website. Research keywords and trending topics and ensure brand consistency across all channels.

** Copywriting:
** Write engaging captions, blog posts, and other marketing content that educates customers and positions Burly Boyz as industry experts.

** Performance Tracking:
** Monitor and report on content performance metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth). Analyze what’s working and adjust strategy accordingly.

** Paid Ad Support:
** Collaborate with the marketing team to create content assets for paid social advertising campaigns.

** Additional Marketing Duties:
** Support other marketing initiatives as required by the Marketing Manager.



How You’ll Spend Your Time

– ~50% — Content Creation (field capture, video editing, graphic design)

– ~30% — Content Strategy & Planning (research, scheduling, cross-platform adaptation)

– ~20% — Reporting, Paid Ad Support, and Marketing Team Collaboration


What You Bring

Must-Haves

– 3–5 years of social media management experience with a proven content creation track record

– Portfolio demonstrating social media growth (follower count, engagement metrics, content quality)

– Video editing experience using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Cap Cut, or equivalent

– Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools (Adobe Creative Suite a plus)

– Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal)

– Comfortable on camera and interacting with customers and crew members during content capture

– Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle for field work

– Available to work from the Edmonton office when not conducting field work

Nice-to-Haves

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field

– Experience in the service industry, moving, logistics, or trades

– Photography skills (lighting, composition, mobile editing)

– Experience with paid social ad campaigns (Meta Ads Manager, Linked In Campaign Manager)

– Adobe Creative Suite proficiency (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)

Work Environment
