Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Manager role based on Kings Road in Chelsea, London. The Social Media Marketing Manager will plan, create, and publish engaging content across social channels (Instagram, TikTok) to showcase the restaurant's food, drinks, events, and brand story. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing a social media content calendar, writing captions, coordinating photo and video shoots, and optimizing posts for reach and engagement. The role involves monitoring community interactions, responding to messages and comments, and collaborating with the operations, bar, and kitchen teams to promote specials, events, and campaigns. The Social Media Marketing Manager will also track performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and recommend data-driven improvements to grow the restaurant's online presence and local audience.
Beyond social media, the role carries a broader marketing remit in support of the Marketing Director. This includes producing and updating in-venue and promotional collateral such as flyers, menus, and event materials; supporting CRM and email marketing communications, including newsletter drafting, audience segmentation, and campaign scheduling; and coordinating incoming marketing requests across the business to ensure briefs are actioned, deadlines are met, and brand guidelines are consistently applied. The Social Media Marketing Manager will act as a key point of coordination between the Marketing Director, external partners (designers, PR, photographers), and internal teams, helping to keep wider marketing initiatives organised and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Strong social media expertise with experience managing brand accounts, preferably within hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Content Strategy and planning content calendars aligned with marketing goals and brand voice.
- Excellent Writing and Communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging, on-brand copy and interact professionally with online communities.
- Experience using social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, TikTok analytics) and applying insights to improve performance.
- Experience supporting wider marketing activity such as CRM/email marketing communications, promotional collateral, and campaign coordination.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple marketing requests and deadlines while supporting a Marketing Director.
- Familiarity with hospitality, food and beverage, or lifestyle brands is highly beneficial.
- Basic skills in photography, videography, or using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express) are a plus.
- Ability to work on-site 5 days/a week, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Previous experience in a similar social media or marketing role and relevant education or training in marketing, communications, or a related field are an advantage.
