In short

Color and Material Management will ensure the right color & material for On Apparel by building and maintaining processes, platforms & training modules at On, and by onboarding T1 & T2 suppliers. This role is crucial to the Sourcing team and the cross-functional Apparel organization. Based in Hanoi, Vietnam.

Your mission

Color

  • Working with CMD on the product-level color direction and converting it to the material level.
  • Launching lab dips and maintaining a digital & physical color library.
  • Evaluating suppliers for color KPIs and preparing an improvement roadmap.
  • Color lab dip evaluation of Apparel materials for color, hand-feel, and quality.
  • Track and hand over the approved lab dip to the production quality team for bulk approval.
  • Review suppliers' color performance and take action for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with the color and material team based in Switzerland

Material

  • Partnering on counter development and dual sourcing globally.
  • Maintaining the counter-development library and following the testing and wear trials of the counter-developed materials.

Your story

  • 5-6 years of relevant work experience in textile material management.
  • Familiar with textile manufacturing, Data color spectrophotometers, and testing parameters.
  • Must be driven & able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • User proficiency in Excel/Power BI, Smartsheet, PLM, and data visualization tools.
  • Highly organized – able to deal with multiple activities and meetings with suppliers & factories. Good spoken & written English.
