VarsityX has signed its first MOU with a top school in India for AI programs — and we are now publicly launching our flagship Research Scholars Program. This role sits at the centre of that expansion, owning school and education consultant partnerships as we scale nationally and globally.

Role Overview
This is a high-impact, Pre-MBA role designed for an entrepreneurial individual who wants to build and scale a venture from its earliest and most defining stage. You will work directly with the leadership team to launch and grow VarsityX's AI-focused educational programs — with a specific mandate to own all school and education consultant partnerships nationally.
You will be the external face of VarsityX with institutional partners, the internal engine that keeps programs running with precision, and the strategic mind that identifies what we build next. If you want to be in the room where things are decided — and then go execute them yourself — this is that role.
Key Responsibilities
1. School & Education Consultant Partnerships
› Own the full partnership lifecycle with schools across India — from first outreach and MOU negotiation through to program activation and renewal.
› Serve as the primary relationship owner for our anchor MOU partner and all future institutional signatories.
› Design onboarding frameworks, co-branded program materials, and school-facing reporting to embed VarsityX as a preferred AI partner.
› Identify and qualify new school targets across India's top CBSE, IB, IGCSE, and state board institutions, with a focus on programs for Grades 9–12 and undergraduate cohorts.
› Track partnership KPIs: MOUs signed, active school cohorts, student enrolments per partner, and renewal rates.
2. Research Scholars Program — Launch & Scale
› Lead the end-to-end launch operations for VarsityX's flagship Research Scholars Program, now publicly live after coming out of stealth.
› Manage student selection, mentor matching and cohort onboarding for each research cycle.
› Build the Research Program into a nationally recognised credential, driving awareness through school partnerships, education consultant networks, and social proof.
› Design and maintain rigorous academic documentation: rubrics, outcome frameworks, and research publication pathways for students.
› Create alumni engagement structures that convert Research Scholars into ambassadors, mentors, and referral engines for the program.
3. Product Innovation & Program Design
› Co-create and continuously improve all VarsityX programs, ensuring they are evidence-based, scalable, and aligned with our AI-first vision.
› Research, justify, and integrate cutting-edge AI tools and frameworks into curricula across all four program stages.
› Work with the founders to define program roadmap, launch new offerings, and stress-test each model against real student and school feedback.
› Own the academic and pedagogical rigor of all offerings with strong documentation and clear theoretical underpinnings.
4. Operational Excellence & Program Execution
› Lead the full execution cycle for all active programs — student onboarding, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and mentor engagement.
› Set up and continuously improve operational workflows using tools like Asana, Notion, or equivalent.
› Track program outcomes, identify bottlenecks, and iterate fast. Every cohort should be better than the last.
› Build dashboards and reporting cadences that give leadership and partners real-time visibility into program health.
5. Venture Building & Strategic Growth
› Identify opportunities to scale through new school channels, geographic markets, or program extensions.
› Craft data-backed business cases to validate new initiatives before committing resources.
› Support the founders in defining go-to-market strategies, setting KPIs, and exploring revenue models — including B2B school licensing and B2C student enrolment.
› Represent VarsityX externally at academic forums, edtech events, and industry panels to build brand and generate partnership leads.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a top-tier global university. Studying at or recently graduated from a US university is a strong plus.
Experience
Minimum 4 years in startups, consulting, edtech, or product. Prior school/university partnership, counseling, or B2B institutional sales experience is a strong differentiator. Entrepreneurial, structured thinker with a strong bias for action and experimentation.
› Excellent spoken and written English with exceptional documentation standards.
› Methodical problem-solving grounded in evidence-based decision-making.
› Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, virtual-first environment.Strong Plus
› Experience managing school, university, or institutional partnerships or MOU relationships.
› Network within education consultant or study-abroad counselor communities.
› Familiarity with AI/ML tools (Python, GenAI platforms, TensorFlow) or educational technology.
› Experience leading student groups, research cohorts, or organising large-scale events.
