Job Description
The ASU College of Arts and Humanities is currently running three oral history projects (Oral History
· Angelo State University). These projects focus on recording interviews with West Texans from the Vietnam War generation, including both veterans and civilians. The interviews-along with digitized historical materials such as photographs, letters, and service documents-will be preserved and made accessible to students, researchers, and the general public through the ASU Digital Repository.
Under the direct supervision of faculty, student workers will assist with a variety of tasks, including:
* Scheduling, conducting, transcribing, and editing oral history interviews
* Digitizing historical materials such as photographs, letters, and service records
* Creating interpretive materials, including online exhibits
* Supporting additional activities related to the oral history projects
Required Qualifications
* Must be a currently enrolled student and registered for classes.
Preferred Qualifications
* College of Arts and Humanities Majors
