Responsibilities:
- Conduct interviews and research subjects for article development as sole author or in cooperation with other authors for website
- Help develop promotional emails and flyers for Stone Lab course student recruitment
- Create educational text for display panels for the public on topics like harmful algal blooms, pharmaceuticals in the water, wetlands and aquaculture
- Develop news releases on program research and events for public awareness and promotion
- Assist in the development of publication graphics and layout with graphic designer
- Help to write short scripts to be used for You Tube researcher summaries
- Develop brochures, fact sheets and posters covering outreach programming
Create social media posts on program research and outreach
- Update media lists and publication database
Application Requirements :
Student candidates need to submit a resume, cover letter and 3 writing samples.
Final Candidates:
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
