Position: Student Big Red Student Life
Description
- Perform as the “Big Red” mascot at central and community appearances, remaining in character while wearing the costume.
- Represent Central’s mission and core values in a positive, friendly manner through performances at on- and off-campus events.
- Maintain proper use of the Big Red costume as directed.
- Interact, in character, with Central students, faculty, staff, parents and families, children, and alumni.
- Work events throughout the year, including evenings and weekends as applicable.
- Distribute Central promotional items designed to create goodwill and increase school spirit, pose for photographs, and communicate without speaking as directed.
Requirements
- Warm and engaging personality with a willingness to have fun.
- Professional demeanor.
- Independent and self‑motivated with attention to detail.
- Ability to multi‑task.
- Ability to work both individually and with a team.
- Must have good posture and physical ability to perform Big Red actions such as standing, running, kneeling, reaching, jumping, bending, and waving hands/arms.
