Your role

As Technical Producer, you will be responsible for managing the human, technical and physical resources required for news productions. You will also be in charge of planning, directing, organizing and monitoring those resources. Additionally, you will represent management on internal production sites.

The requirement is for weekday and weekend shifts and between 4 a.m. and Midnight. This is an on call position.

This role requires full-time on-site presence.

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

  • Community college diploma in audiovisual studies, communications or other appropriate field, or equivalent combination of education/experience

  • Three (3) years experience in team or staff management

  • Extensive knowledge of production operations and technical tools required for news production

  • Project management skills

  • Solid command of health and safety standards

  • Good knowledge of spoken and written French

  • Candidates may be subject to skills and knowledge testing.
