Title: User Experience Writer

Location: India
Think Design is looking for a UX Writer who delivers compelling content solutions while partnering with UX designers, researchers, product managers, and developers. He/She should have the proficiency of writing clear and concise content across multiple channels and touchpoints – including product names, labels, navigational elements, interface language, accessibility content, detailed UX guidelines around visual style, component behaviours, and editorial advice.
ROLE:
- Shape product experiences by creating useful, meaningful text that helps users complete the task at hand.
- Be an integral part of the product and UX design team.
- Articulate the vision for content and drive product narratives across multiple platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with UX designers, product teams, and researchers to craft language systems across a variety of contexts, including but not limited to UI components and editorial content
- Design scalable systems and structures to support large amounts of content
- Research and test Hypothesis
- Anticipate customer needs based on their objectives and explore innovative solutions in a space where little precedence exists
- Create user-centred solutions by considering market segment analysis, customer feedback, metrics, and usability findings
- Collaborate with UX design to quickly and iteratively create interaction flows, wireframes, and design mock-ups throughout the design process
SKILLS :
- Writing Skills – Be able to see "words" as part of design.
- Research and evaluate copy that resonates with users
- Experience working in a collaborative team, publicly white-boarding, and working directly with developers for the implementation of designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Be aware and have experience with using research methods to perform "conversation mining" – research related specifically to the words used in a product
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Journalism or editorial experience or background OR Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a user experience writer or similar role.
- Experience with UX writing for complex workflow software products
- Experience working with user research and analysing customer feedback
EXPECTATIONS:
