Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Vice President of Business Development. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing comprehensive business plans, building and maintaining client relationships, and negotiating contracts. The Vice President of Business Development will lead sales efforts, manage key accounts, and create strategies to achieve business growth objectives. This role will also require close collaboration with leadership to align business development initiatives with the organization’s overall goals.
Qualifications
- Expertise in New Business Development and Business Planning to identify growth opportunities and craft strategic plans
- Strong skills in Contract Negotiation to secure beneficial agreements and partnerships
- Proficiency in Sales and Account Management to drive revenue and maintain strong client relationships
- Proven leadership capabilities and ability to guide cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate market trends and inform decision-making
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA or equivalent is preferred
- Experience in working within agriculture or non-profit sectors is an advantage
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
