Role Overview

The Video Editor will own end-to-end post-production across short-form and long-form projects, working closely with producers and clients to shape compelling narratives and deliver polished, brand-aligned content. This role sits at the intersection of technical precision and creative storytelling, requiring both a strong editorial eye and the organizational discipline to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Video Editor will be a key creative contributor, responsible for ensuring every final output meets agency-level quality standards before distribution.

Location

Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9 AM – 5 PM EST

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Work with producers to craft compelling narratives across a range of video content
  • Edit both short-form and long-form video projects for digital and branded platforms
  • Perform basic sound mixing and color correction to ensure polished final outputs
  • Create basic 2D motion graphics to enhance storytelling and audience engagement
  • Ensure pacing, structure, and clarity align with the established creative direction

Collaboration & Client Feedback

  • Collaborate closely with producers and clients to incorporate feedback effectively and efficiently
  • Maintain consistency with brand tone, style, and project direction across all deliverables
  • Communicate clearly and professionally throughout revision cycles and project handoffs

Workflow & Quality Assurance

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high accuracy and efficiency
  • Review all final content for technical quality, accuracy, and consistency before delivery
  • Follow current industry standards and best practices in post-production workflows

Qualifications — Experience

  • 4+ years of professional post-production and video editing experience required
  • Agency and/or brand experience is required — candidates without this background will not be considered
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating both short-form and long-form editing work across digital and branded platforms
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with particular strength in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Strong understanding of current post-production workflows, industry standards, and finishing best practices
  • Finishing/post-production specialization is a plus
  • Reliable high-speed internet and the ability to work remotely during EST hours (9 AM – 5 PM) are non-negotiable

  • Flexibility to occasionally work after-hours or on weekends when project deadlines require it
  • Calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

  • Client and producer feedback is implemented quickly, accurately, and without friction

  • Final outputs are polished, technically clean, and ready for distribution without additional QA
