Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Multan. The Video Editor will work closely with creators, brands, and the internal team to edit long-form and short-form YouTube content, including shorts and series, with a strong focus on storytelling and audience retention. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting engaging moments, refining pacing, adding motion graphics, sound design, and color corrections, and preparing multiple versions optimized for different platforms. The role involves collaborating on thumbnail concepts, experimenting with hooks and formats, and implementing feedback from performance data. The Video Editor will also maintain organized project files, meet production deadlines, and ensure all content aligns with channel strategy and brand guidelines.
Qualifications
- Strong video editing skills using professional tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve), with experience cutting content specifically for YouTube.
- Ability to craft retention-focused stories, including structuring narratives, refining pacing, and developing engaging hooks that keep viewers watching.
- Experience with visual design elements such as thumbnail ideation, basic graphics, text animations, and layout that support click-through and brand consistency.
- Familiarity with social video formats (long-form and shorts), platform best practices, and basic content optimization principles for YouTube and related channels.
- Attention to detail in sound design, color correction, and overall post-production quality, ensuring polished and consistent output.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to receive and apply feedback, work on-site with a team, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant experience in digital content production; a portfolio or showreel showcasing YouTube or social video work is required.
- Preferred: Knowledge of YouTube analytics, basic motion graphics (e.g., After Effects), and prior experience working with creators, agencies, or brands.
