About The Role

The Video Editor & Producer will play a vital role in expanding RA's global reach through the creation of high-quality video content. Based in New York City, this position focuses on enhancing RA's storytelling within the North American market by developing engaging ideas, producing, editing, and assisting with video content across multiple platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with the Content Production Lead, Lead Producer/Director, Reviews & Curation Lead, North American Editor, and other key team members to deliver projects that align with RA’s strategic goals. The role involves managing a diverse portfolio of video projects, from short-form social media clips to longer-form content, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality. The Video Editor & Producer will bring creativity, speed, and technical expertise to elevate RA’s video presence, particularly on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other digital platforms, while supporting regional projects in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and beyond. This is a dynamic role suited for a self-starter with a passion for electronic music and storytelling, eager to contribute to a globally recognized brand that champions innovation and community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in multimedia content production, editing, and videography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating cross-platform content creation.
  • Proven experience publishing on YouTube, with additional experience on Instagram and TikTok preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Premiere Pro and Photoshop, with familiarity in Figma, CapCut, and in-app publishing tools.
  • Strong storytelling skills with an ability to craft engaging hooks, clear narratives, and compelling visual content.
  • Experience in producing and editing content quickly while maintaining high standards of quality and craft.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively across different time zones.
  • Comfort with presenting short-form content on camera is a plus but not essential.
  • Deep curiosity and knowledge of electronic music and diverse North American music scenes.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and openness to feedback and iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of RA’s video content, managing projects of varying scales and formats within the Film and Content teams.
  • Produce and edit video content efficiently, balancing pace, creativity, and storytelling clarity.
  • Collaborate with the Content Production Lead and Lead Producer/Director to prioritize tasks, execute projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to elevate RA’s mid- and long-form video content on YouTube and other platforms.
  • Work across US and EU time zones with RA’s Editorial, Design, and Brand teams to ensure cohesive content delivery.
  • Shoot and produce North America-focused short-form content for social media channels.
  • Generate weekly ideas for North American storytelling that resonate with diverse electronic music communities.
  • Support the Reviews & Curation team in revitalizing the visual presentation of global electronic music curation.
  • Assist in regional projects, including content creation for Los Angeles, Mexico City, and other key markets.
