About Us
The Parkinson Performance Centre is a leading online clinic helping people with Parkinson’s take control of their health. Alongside their medical teams, we coach members through a structured program built on five pillars: physical training, cognitive skills, emotional resilience, sleep and recovery, and nutrition.
We don’t treat people as fragile — we help them train like athletes, building strength, confidence, and energy through personalized, science-based coaching.
We’re growing quickly and looking for caring, organized coaches to support more members and deliver strong results at scale.
Our Mission
Parkinson’s is the fastest-growing neurological disease in the world. Over 10 million people live with it today, and that number is expected to exceed 25 million by 2050. There is no cure — and for many, decline is already happening daily.
Modern medicine can diagnose and manage symptoms, but it cannot stop progression. The only proven way to slow it is through structured lifestyle intervention: targeted training, nutrition, sleep, and cognitive and emotional strategies. Yet this is where the system fails — people are told to “stay active” without being given a real plan.
We exist to change that. Today’s Parkinson’s care is reactive; we make it proactive. Our mission is to shift people from fragile patient to trained athlete through a structured system across five pillars: Athletic, Restorative, Metabolic, Cognitive, and Emotional Health.
We can’t offer a cure — but we can help people live better now: slowing progression, building strength and resilience, and reclaiming quality of life.
Our goal over the next five years is to directly impact 100,000 people through our programs and reach 10 million more through education. Because a solution that doesn’t scale isn’t a solution — and the people who need this can’t wait.
Our Values
We are strict about our culture. These values guide every decision we make and everyone we hire:
1. We Are the Lighthouse. Our clients often arrive in fear, confusion, and overwhelm. We are the stable point in the storm — reliable, grounded, and emotionally safe. When everything feels uncertain, they know exactly where to look for clarity and direction. We choose to be a source of light, optimism, and emotional stability, especially when others cannot be.
2. Results Are the Mission. Not papers. Not clinical politics. Not prestige. Not titles. If something looks good on paper but does not change a client’s life, we do not care about it.
3. Strength Is Our Language. Our people are living, breathing examples of what we teach. We train. We improve — physically, mentally, and emotionally. Because clients must see, feel, and trust strength before they can build it themselves.
4. Speed Is King. We chose to leave academia to build a company on purpose. Parkinson’s does not wait. Decline does not wait. We move fast, we decide fast, and we execute fast. Speed here is not recklessness — it is our responsibility.
5. Scale Is Duty. Our solution can slow disease progression and maximize longevity and quality of life. If we stay small, we keep a working solution away from the millions of people living with Parkinson’s. Scaling is not just ambition — it is our moral obligation.
The Role
This isn’t just another editing job. The content you create sits on the front lines of Parkinson’s — helping people understand their condition, take action, and feel less alone. That’s the mission.
As our Video Editor & Social Media Manager, you own Editing, Posting, and Feedback. Writers and producers provide the raw material — you turn it into high-quality content, publish it, and help improve performance.
With AI tools like Vizard.ai handling most short-form, your focus is long-form: crafting strong podcast intros and elevating videos with graphics, b-roll, and captions that hold attention to the end.
Your week is simple: refine long-form, then batch and distribute short-form across all platforms. The goal is to create high-value content that builds trust and drives viewers toward deeper engagement and booking a call.
We value clean, calm, professional content — nothing flashy. You’ll maintain that standard while making every piece engaging and impactful.
You’ll work with leverage, using tools like Vizard.ai, Descript, Riverside, Buffer, and AI to build efficient systems and produce at scale.
What You’ll Produce Each Week
Here is the content we expect every week. Most of your time goes into the long-form; the short-form is generated and scheduled from it in a single distribution day.

~5 clips per call
All long-form is posted to YouTube. All short-form is generated with Vizard.ai and scheduled across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts in one focused distribution day each week.
What You’ll Do
• Make the long-form genuinely engaging. Craft strong podcast intros and add graphics, b-roll, and on-screen captions across our talking-head videos so people keep watching to the end.
• Protect client privacy. On the filmed calls, edit so that only our co-founder Gaia Forlani appears on screen — clients are never shown, named, or identified.
• Run one focused distribution day. Once a week, push all long-form through Vizard.ai and schedule the full set of short-form clips across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. And long form on Youtube.
• Design thumbnails and motion graphics. Create clean, professional thumbnails and motion graphics / lower-thirds that stay on-brand and earn the click.
• Publish the long-form. Post all long-form to YouTube with clean titles, thumbnails, captions, and descriptions, and keep our channels organized and on-brand.
• Engineer the funnel. Use short-form to pull new viewers into our long-form, and use the long-form to move them toward our VLS, our newsletter, and booking a call.
• Own the numbers that matter. With our Head of Systems & Tech, track shares and saves on short-form, retention on long-form, and calls booked and cost per call downstream — not just raw views.
• Connect organic to paid. Help turn our best-performing organic clips into ads (Hormozi style) pointed at the call funnel, and work out how organic influences the cost of acquisition on that paid funnel — including how many minutes on brand it takes before someone books.
• Close the feedback loop. Feed clear, periodic insights back to our writers and producers so ideation and scripting keep improving.
What We’re Looking For
Required
• Strong long-form editing (podcasts, talking-heads) with engaging intros, graphics, b-roll, and captions
• Confident publishing across YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn; fast with tools like Vizard.ai and Buffer
• Tech-savvy with an automation mindset; comfortable using AI tools (Vizard, Descript, Claude, etc.)
• Solid thumbnail and motion graphics skills (Photoshop, After Effects, Figma, or similar)
• Analytical thinker who understands performance (retention, shares, calls booked — not just views)
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage weekly deadlines
• Strong communicator and team player, comfortable working remotely
• Proactive, fast learner with ownership
• Genuinely motivated to make an impact
Compensation & Growth
• Base salary: $5,000/month via 1099 if full time
• Performance bonuses: Earn bonuses tied to your output, channel growth, and reach, on top of your base.
• Tools & gear: We invest in professional studios, videographers, top-tier cameras (Sony FX3 and more), and the best software, so you can do your best work.
• Room to grow: Strong performers can grow into a Head of Content / Media Lead role — shaping our content strategy and building and leading a media team as we scale.
What Success Looks Like
• Long-form is genuinely engaging — strong retention, and viewers who come back for more
• Short-form earns shares and saves, not just views, and pulls new people into our long-form
• The funnel works — long-form moves people toward our VLS, our newsletter, and a booked call
• Cost per call booked falls as our free value compounds and trust grows
• Our best-performing organic clips become high-performing ads into the call funnel
• Writers and producers get clear, regular feedback, and the content keeps getting better
