Overview

Videographer, Content Creator & Editor Jobs in Taunton, England, United Kingdom at LUX Media & Production

Title: Videographer, Content Creator & Editor

Company: LUX Media & Production

Location: Taunton, England, United Kingdom

About the Company

LUX Media & Production is a fast growing strategic content and production agency specialising in short form social content, long form storytelling, and high end video production.

As we’ve grown, so has our production scope. We now create everything from performance driven vertical content to cinematic brand campaigns, YouTube formats and long form series.

We’re a small but ambitious agency, only a few years in and already working with major names. As we scale, we’re looking for someone who wants to grow with us and become a key part of the LUX team.

At LUX, we do not create content just to look good. We create content to perform and to last. Every shot, edit, transition and sound decision is intentional. Whether it’s a 10 second social clip or a long form series, the goal is the same, clarity, emotion and impact.

This is not a plug in and coast environment. It is a high trust, high standard, creatively driven role inside a team that blends strategy with production. If you care about storytelling, execution and performance as much as technical ability, you’ll fit right in.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented Videographer & Content Creator to support and help deliver production and post production across the agency.

This is a hybrid role covering both filming and editing, with a rough split of 30 to 40 percent shooting and 60 to 70 percent editing.

You’ll be working across a mix of social first content and higher end cinematic work, with a strong focus on long form and brand led projects.

You will be involved from shoot through to final delivery. Not just capturing footage, but understanding what’s needed to make the edit work and telling stronger stories.

You’ll work closely with the wider team, including our in-house editor, social media manager and operations manager, to align on priorities, deadlines and delivery.

You’ll take ownership of your own projects while collaborating closely with the team to maintain high creative standards across all outputs.

This role includes regular travel, along with occasional evening and weekend work depending on shoot requirements.

Post Production

  • Edit across client and internal projects to a high standard
  • Manage your own timelines and ensure deadlines are consistently met
  • Maintain clean project organisation and file structures
  • Work under the direction of the in-house editor on key projects where needed

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate with the in-house editor to understand editing priorities and workflows
  • Work closely with the social media manager to align on content needs, shoot requirements and deadlines
  • Coordinate with the operations manager to stay on track with schedules and project delivery
  • Contribute to a smooth production pipeline across filming and editing

  • Create high performing vertical content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube Shorts
  • Understand hooks, pacing and platform behaviour
  • Deliver content designed for retention and engagement

  • Contribute to storytelling, pacing and structure
  • Balance cinematic quality with audience engagement

Creative Contribution

  • Contribute ideas during planning and shoot stages
  • Work closely with the team on execution and delivery
  • Understand how to improve both filming and editing output

Technical Requirements

  • Strong experience as a camera op (Canon preferred)
  • Confident in Premiere Pro ( Final Cut and others too is an advantage)
  • Good understanding of colour grading and finishing
  • Solid sound design awareness and clean audio handling
  • Basic motion graphics and captioning ability
