Role Description
The Visiting Faculty Member will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging studio sessions, lectures, and workshops in  UI/UX Design  and  Game Art & Design . This on-site role in Bengaluru involves teaching, developing assignments, project briefs, and assessment criteria aligned with the atelier’s academic standards and current industry practices.
The faculty member will mentor learners through design thinking, user-centered design processes, game development workflows, portfolio building, and project critiques. They will provide constructive feedback and support students in developing both conceptual and technical skills required for careers in the design and gaming industries.
For the  UI/UX Design  domain, the faculty member will guide students in areas such as user research, information architecture, wire framing, prototyping, interaction design, usability testing, design systems, and digital product design.
For the  Game Art & Design  domain, the faculty member should possess expertise in one or more of the following specializations:
3D Modeling and Asset Creation
Character Design
Concept Art and Visual Development
Storyboarding and Narrative Visualization
Rigging and Character Setup
2D/3D Animation
Environment Design
Photogrammetry and Digital Asset Capture
Real-time Game Art Pipelines
Digital Sculpting for characters (Zbrush)
Unity and Unreal Engine-based Game Prototyping
The role also includes collaborating with the academic team on curriculum enhancement, participating in juries and portfolio reviews, and bringing contemporary industry practices into the classroom.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in  UI/UX Design ,  Digital Product Design , or  Game Art & Design , with the ability to translate industry knowledge into effective teaching.
Professional experience in one or more Game Art specializations including 3D Modeling, Character Design, Concept Art, Storyboarding, Rigging, Animation, Photogrammetry, Environment Art, or Technical Art.
Working knowledge of  Unity  and/or  Unreal Engine  with experience in creating game prototypes, interactive experiences, or real-time visualizations.
Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Blender, Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Unreal Engine, Unity, and other relevant software.
Good communication, mentoring, and classroom management skills with the ability to engage diverse learner groups.
Strong professional portfolio showcasing high-quality work and evidence of industry practice in UI/UX Design or Game Art & Design.
Relevant degree in Design, Animation, Game Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field, or equivalent professional industry experience.
Willingness to work on-site in Bengaluru and align with École Intuit Lab’s academic standards and educational philosophy.
