Part-Time Temporary Worship Accompanist Wanted
Pleasant Hill UMC (Indian Land, SC) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Worship Accompanist to join our music ministry team. This is a temporary part-time position that will play a key role in supporting our worship services and enhancing the musical life of our congregation while we explore our next steps.
Position Highlights:
- Accompany Sunday traditional worship services on piano
- Rehearse with and accompany the Chancel Choir
- Rehearse with the Praise Band on Thursdays and occasionally accompany that service
- Collaborate with Music Leaders and Pastor in planning worship music
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in piano is required
- Organ skills are a plus, but not required
- Experience in church music is preferred
- Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about worship through music
