The Role
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Global Community & KOL Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our player community, responsible for building our brand presence from the ground up across global platforms and fostering meaningful relationships with top-tier creators. Responsibilities
- Global Community Architecture: Lead 0-1 community building and management across Discord, Reddit, Steam, QQ, and other key platforms to cultivate a dedicated core player base.
- Influencer & KOL Ecosystem: Build and scale a global influencer network across Twitch, YouTube, Bilibili, and TikTok. Strategize and executive creator campaigns to drive high-impact distribution and word-of-mouth growth.
- Narrative & Content Strategy: Craft sustainable community topics and content pillars based on game mechanics and lore to stimulate organic engagement and UGC (User-Generated Content).
- Live Ops & Seasonal Campaigns: Design and execute community events and co-creation activities aligned with seasonal updates to maintain long-term player momentum.
- Player Advocacy & Feedback Loop: Serve as the vital bridge between players and the development team. Collect and analyze community sentiment to provide actionable insights for product iteration and publishing strategies.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional experience in Community or KOL Operations within the gaming industry. Experience with hardcore or mid-core strategy/war games is highly preferred.
- Deep Cultural Fluency: You speak the "language" of hardcore gamers. You understand their culture, memes, and expectations, and can communicate with empathy and authority.
- Global Creator Network: Proven track record of managing global KOLs (Western Twitch/YT creators or Domestic influencers) or the ability to rapidly build a network from scratch.
- Platform Mastery: Expertise in managing overseas community hubs like Discord and Reddit.
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience in team management or leading complex, cross-functional projects.
Nice to Haves (Bonus Points)
- You are a hardcore gamer yourself, with deep experience in War, Strategy, or Open-World titles.
- Experience in designing UGC incentive systems and large-scale player co-creation programs.
- Background in cross-cultural or multi-regional community management.
