Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Art and Craft Teacher to inspire young minds in a CBSE-affiliated school. The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons in visual arts, crafts, and design, fostering creativity, fine motor skills, and aesthetic appreciation among students from grades PP1 to G5. This role involves integrating CBSE Art Education guidelines with innovative teaching methods to nurture well-rounded artists.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.Ed., or equivalent) in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related field; B.El.Ed or CTET/TET qualification is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in CBSE/ICSE schools, with a focus on primary/secondary levels.Strong proficiency in various art mediums (watercolor, acrylics, clay modeling, fabric crafts) and knowledge of Indian art forms.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse learners, including those with special needs.
Required Skills
- Creative mindset with innovative teaching techniques.Proficiency in MS Office for lesson planning and digital portfolios.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and commitment to child-centric education.Preferred Attributes
- Experience with Montessori or activity-based learning.Familiarity with CBSE Art curriculum updates and NEP 2020 guidelines.
