Job Overview
The Blog Content Manager will play a critical role in our content strategy by planning, creating, and managing engaging, informative, and SEO-friendly blog content. This position ensures the regular production of content that reflects our brand voice and identity, contributing to our digital marketing strategy.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish blog content aligned with Ultahost’s content strategy.
- Develop SEO-friendly content, conduct keyword research, and optimize content accordingly.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on blog performance to improve content strategy.
- Create and maintain a content calendar.
- Collaborate with writers, designers, and other content creators.
- Stay updated with current trends and adjust content strategy as needed.
- Ensure content aligns with the brand tone and language.
- Proofread high-quality blog posts and articles, ensuring content generated by writers is not AI-generated.
- Ensure all content adheres to SEO best practices and maintains a consistent brand voice.
- Conduct keyword research and implement SEO strategies to optimize blog content for search engines.
- Analyze blog performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Implement internal and external linking strategies to boost blog visibility.
- Use data to optimize content, improve readability, and increase engagement.
- Manage a team of content writers, providing feedback and guidance.
- Monitor writers, designers, and other team members to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Work closely with the marketing team to align blog content with broader campaigns and goals.
- Coordinate with designers and developers for enhanced blog visuals and technical requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base to support customers with detailed, step‑by‑step guides and troubleshooting articles.
- Collaborate with the technical support team to identify frequently asked questions and turn them into detailed knowledge base content.
- Develop custom Word Press themes and customize existing themes.
- Develop custom plugins or optimize existing plugins.
- Experience with SEO-friendly configurations and website speed optimization.
- Experience in setting up, configuring, and maintaining Word Press websites.
Qualifications
- Design and implement a content calendar specific to the web hosting niche, focusing on topics such as shared hosting, VPS hosting, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, and related subjects.
- Create a content calendar, ensuring consistent publishing and relevance to current trends.
- Conduct market and competitive research to identify trending topics and keywords.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in content creation within the web hosting, technology, or digital services sectors.
- Experience managing multilingual content.
- Basic knowledge of visual content creation and graphic design.
- Proven experience with Word Press, Word Press development, and design experience.
