Role Description
We're hiring writers across all levels. Whether you're a mid-level copywriter hitting your stride or a senior writer ready to lead, we want to meet you. At GPN Indonesia you'll write across everything — campaigns, social, scripts, brand voice, the occasional impossible brief, working hand in hand with art directors, strategists, and account teams. If you obsess over a good line, can switch tone on demand, and care as much about the idea as the execution, read on. We'll match the role and title to your experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop concepts and write copy across campaigns, social, digital, and a wide range of brand projects.
- Craft and protect brand voice across every channel and touchpoint.
- Partner with art directors to turn ideas into work that's better than the brief.
- Work with strategists and account teams to ground creative in real insight and client objectives.
- Contribute to — and, at senior level, lead — brainstorms, pitches, and new business.
- Adapt tone, format, and language to fit different brands and audiences.
- Mentor and lift the writers around you (senior level).
- Stay curious about culture, trends, and new tools (incl. AI-assisted workflows).
Qualifications
- 2–7 years of copywriting experience, depending on level.
- A strong portfolio showing range, big ideas, and sharp craft across formats.
- Excellent writing in Bahasa Indonesia, with strong English (fluent preferred for senior, client-facing roles).
- A conceptual thinker who can also sweat the details.
- For senior candidates: proven ability to lead projects, present to clients, and elevate the work of others.
- Collaborative, organised, and comfortable juggling multiple projects.
- Genuine interest in brands, storytelling, and culture.
