With a strong focus on metadata standards, you are responsible for consulting with various city divisions, guiding image cataloguing processes, and ensuring the longevity of city records. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on best practices for digital asset management
• Train staff on metadata standards and compliance
• Collaborate with content creators to ensure visual quality
• Evaluate and resolve metadata inconsistencies
• Curate images for use in public communications
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in information management
• Significant experience in digital asset management systems
• Experience with compliance in record lifecycle management
• Knowledge of copyright law and data protection
• Skills in MS Excel and professional editing software
