Position: Environmental Design Internship – Fall 2026
What the job involves
We are seeking a passionate graphic designer to work with us in our Columbus, OH studio for Summer 2026. The successful candidate will support the design studio in creating innovative consumer‑driven experiences. This is a hybrid position that requires flexibility to come into the studio as needed.
Responsibilities
- Participates in team meetings with highly collaborative professionals
- Supports team in design concepts through 2D graphic elements
- Deliverable deck design
- Production art deliverables
- Conceptual graphic creation

Education, Skills, and Experience
- Pursuant or completed Bachelor’s degree in visual communications or graphic design
- Strong portfolio showing a range of skills
- An interest and understanding of brand standards and style guidelines
- Ability to communicate concepts and ideas to others
- Knowledge of design principles and aesthetics specifically relevant to retail environments
- Ability to quickly produce high‑quality concept sketches and mockups
- Proficiency in industry‑standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365 tools
- Ability to develop strong relationships with the design team, vendors, and other partners in the retail industry
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate design concepts and ideas to the design team
- Strong listening skills
- Ability to excel under pressure
- Attention to detail and a critical eye for design quality and consistency
- Strong follow‑up and follow‑through
Location
On‑site – Columbus, OH
Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
