Position: Expert Conservator for Northwest Territories Heritage

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead initiatives to conserve heritage materials and archival collections
• Create and implement effective conservation treatment plans
• Monitor environmental conditions for collections
• Support exhibit development with expertise on object display
• Advise on conservation practices for Indigenous and community projects
Requirements:
• Master’s degree or graduate certificate in Conservation
• Minimum of three years’ relevant experience
• Acceptable combinations of experience and education available
• Undergraduate degree in Conservation with five years of experience valid
• Knowledge in Indigenous heritage and conservation standards required
