About Klarixa

Klarixa AI is building the intelligence layer for life sciences quality and compliance — the kind of software that turns 6-week deviation investigations into 6-hour ones and makes "inspection-ready every day" an actual operating reality instead of a slogan.

We're born out of 26+ years of hands-on GxP auditing, computer system validation, and pharma quality systems. Our founders bring a rare combination of deep AI/SaaS engineering DNA and frontline life sciences expertise — 200+ audits conducted across FDA, EMA, and MHRA-regulated environments. We don't sell generic AI wrapped in pharma language. We encode regulatory fluency into software, built by people who know exactly what breaks, what gets cited, and what actually works.

We're building Klarixa to be in the top 1% of companies in the world — in product, in engineering culture, and in how we ship.

The Role

We’re hiring a Product Designer who wants to design the experience layer of a category-defining AI product — not just work on isolated screens or redesign existing templates.

You’ll work directly with the founding team in a lean pod structure: small, high-trust, cross-functional teams that own outcomes end-to-end. No layers of approval, no endless design review cycles. You design, test, iterate, and ship with engineers in real time.

This is an AI-native product org. We expect every designer to be fluent with modern AI-powered design workflows — Figma AI, AI prototyping tools, ChatGPT, and emerging design copilots — not as a novelty but as the default way we build. If you're still writing every line by hand and treating AI as "cheating," this isn't the right fit. If you're already 3–5x'ing your output with the right setup and want to push that further, keep reading.

What You’ll Do

  • Design end-to-end user experiences for AI-powered agentic enterprise workflows
  • Translate complex regulatory and operational processes into simple, intuitive interfaces
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern design tools
  • Define and maintain a consistent design system across products
  • Collaborate closely with backend and frontend engineers to ensure design feasibility
  • Work on UX for AI-native features including agents, RAG workflows, and intelligent automation
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate based on real feedback
  • Take ownership of design decisions from concept to production

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–4 years of UI/UX/Product design experience for web or mobile products (SaaS or enterprise experience is a plus)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product thinking, not just visual design
  • Experience in designing complete Agentic system, not just a LLM wrapper on existing SaaS product
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, user journeys, information architecture, and user psychology
  • Ability to design clean, modern, and scalable UI with strong attention to detail (spacing, typography, hierarchy, consistency)
  • Strong proficiency in Figma with hands-on experience in components, auto-layout, and prototyping
  • Ability to simplify complex systems into intuitive and user-friendly experiences
  • Experience in creating end-to-end user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and interactive prototypes
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain and defend design decisions using logic and reasoning
  • Ability to work closely with engineers and product teams, ensuring smooth design-to-development handoff
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, high-ownership startup environments with ambiguity and rapid iteration
  • Basic understanding of user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
  • Strong product thinking with the ability to translate complex problems into simple, intuitive user experiences

What We Value

  • AI-native by default. You use Claude Design, or similar agentic tooling as a force multiplier — and you have opinions about how to do it well.
  • Lean-pod operator. You thrive in small teams where you wear multiple hats and the distance from idea to production is hours, not weeks.
  • Product brain. You care about why we're building something, not just what. You'll push back on bad specs.
  • Calm in chaos. Startup velocity is the floor, not the ceiling. You stay sharp when priorities shift.
  • Craft. You ship fast, but you don't ship sloppy.

Why Klarixa

  • Day-0 equity. Real ownership from the moment you join. We want you invested in the outcome — not just employed by it.
  • Founder access. No middle layers. You'll be in the room where architecture, product, and strategy decisions are made.
  • Top 1% ambition. We're not building a feature shop. We're building a category leader, and we hire people who want to be part of that bar.
  • Founders who've done it. A mix of core AI/SaaS builders and life sciences operators who've lived the problems we're solving for 20+ years.
  • Tooling and autonomy. Best-in-class dev environments, AI tooling budget, and the trust to use them.
  • Real impact. Pharma, biotech, and medical device companies will use what you ship to keep medicines safe and audits clean. The work matters.

Big Pluses

  • Prior experience. Product-led startup or high-growth SaaS experience preferred.
  • AI tooling usage. Daily user of Claude Code, Cursor, or comparable AI dev tools — bonus if you can show what you've built with them.
  • Domain exposure. Experience in regulated industries (pharma, healthcare, fintech) or workflow-heavy enterprise SaaS.
  • Builder mindset. Open-source contributions or side projects that demonstrate range and initiative.
