CNC JOINER / CABINETMAKER – PLYLAB
- Petone, Wellington | Full-time | 40 hrs/week | $56,000–$63,000 salary range
- We build some of New Zealand's highest-quality plywood kitchens and furniture
- We're looking for a Joiner who takes pride in precision, organisation, continuous improvement, and doing things properly.
- This is not a job for someone looking to coast.
- It's for someone who wants to become exceptionally good at their craft.
- You'll work across CNC machining, cabinet assembly, quality control, workshop organisation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Every day is different, and every project matters.

What You'll Do
- CNC machining (HOMAG CNC)
- Cabinet assembly and finishing
- Quality control and problem-solving
- Workshop organisation and 3S
- Installation support when required
- Continuous improvement of systems and processes
What We're Looking For
- NZ manual driver licence (Able to drive a long wheel base manual van)
- Cabinetmaking or joinery experience
- Close attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Organised and methodical
- Able to learn new systems quickly
- Takes ownership and responsibility
- Positive attitude and willingness to improve
Experience with CNC, WoodWOP, IMOS or HOMAG machinery is an advantage but not essential.
We can teach machines. We can't teach attitude.
