Hommey | Victoria | Full-Time
Creative is only as good as its execution. That’s where you come in.
We’re building something at Hommey and we need the person who makes the creative machine run. This is a newly created role in our Brand Marketing team, built to support the next phase of our creative output.
You’ll own shoots end to end, keep our asset library airtight, and make sure every launch lands without friction. You sit at the intersection of creativity and operations, and you’re just as comfortable on set as you are in a planning session.
About Us
Born in 2021 with a simple cushion and a big dream, Hommey is revolutionising the homeware industry. We believe creating an aspirational, top-quality brand doesn’t have to break the bank and we’re proving it. Our mission is to help people craft a home that truly reflects who they are, without compromise.
The Role
As the Junior Producer at Hommey, you’ll be at the heart of our creative output—supporting the planning, coordination and production of assets across campaigns, content and brand moments. You love bringing creative ideas to life and understand the importance of strong creative operations in delivering consistent, high-quality work at scale.
Reporting to our Brand & Content Manager, you’ll support the creative team with production logistics, creative administration and the day-to-day operations that keep creative output running smoothly and efficiently.
Day to day, that looks like:
- Owning photoshoot and video shoot operations end to end, including scheduling, call sheets, timelines, locations, and logistics.
- Coordinating talent, stylists, photographers, videographers and crew so everyone arrives aligned and ready.
- Providing on-set support to keep shoots running to time, maintaining continuity and solving problems in the moment.
- Managing the Marketing Sample Library, including product organisation, deliveries, returns and creative sourcing.
- Tracking vendor invoices and purchase orders to keep shoots within budget.
- Maintaining asset libraries through consistent saving, categorising and distributing of files.
- Preparing and delivering files to external partners accurately and on time.
- Supporting social-first and always-on content production with strong operational input.
- Conducting competitor and market research, surfacing trends relevant to our home and lifestyle space.
- Identifying continuous improvement opportunities in our creative operations and bringing solutions.
Who We’re Looking For
The person who thrives here is proactive, calm when things change, and genuinely excited by a well-run production day.
You’re the right fit if you:
- 2+ years' experience in creative production, content marketing or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills—you love a spreadsheet, checklist, well-run schedule and tidy asset library.
- Stay composed under pressure, work to deadlines, and move to fix problems with a solutions mindset.
- Communicate clearly with a wide range of people, from internal team members to external suppliers and talent.
- Have a good eye for visual detail and continuity in visual storytelling.
- Flexibility in creative environments, including working flexible hours for photoshoots. You must be able to travel internationally.
- Are comfortable across tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace, Slack, Figma and Miro.
- Bonus if you bring:
- Experience with budget tracking, shoot logistics or production assisting.
- Familiarity with project management tools like Asana and Miro.
- A genuine interest in art direction and the home and lifestyle space.
- Hands-on studio or set experience or a strong drive to build it quickly.
What’s on Offer:
- A brand-new role you can genuinely shape.
- Access to Comfort Days: these are five days in addition to A/L accruals.
- A head office based in the Melbourne CBD, with a hybrid work set-up.
- A fast-growing DTC brand that’s ambitious and not slowing down.
- A creative, collaborative team that moves fast and cares about the work.
