Position Title: Lead- Business Development- (B2B Food Services)

Location: Pune/ Rest of Maharashtra

Role Description:

We are looking for a high-impact Business Development leader to drive growth in the B2B Food Services segment. This role focuses on acquiring new enterprise clients across corporate segment by delivering integrated food service solutions.

You will own the end-to-end sales cycle—from opportunity identification to deal closure—while collaborating with cross-functional teams to craft compelling, value-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Pipeline Ownership

  • Drive new business acquisition across target industries within the Corporate Food Services segment
  • Identify and pursue high-value opportunities aligned with revenue and profitability goals
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle using CRM—from lead generation to deal closure

2. Bid Management & Solutioning

  • Lead “Bid / No-Bid” decisions for RFPs from large enterprises and key accounts
  • Collaborate with Operations, Culinary, HR, Procurement, Finance, and HSE teams to design tailored food service solutions
  • Build comprehensive proposals including commercial models, service design, and transition plans

3. Strategic Deal Leadership

  • Develop winning strategies for key accounts in consultation with Segment and Sales Directors
  • Own bid P&L, ensuring alignment with profitability and “right client–right terms” principles
  • Lead internal approvals for large deals, including CAPEX and contractual deviations

4. Client Engagement & Influencing

  • Build strong relationships with CXOs, Economic Buyers, and key decision-makers
  • Create a “web of influence” across client organizations to drive deal success
  • Deliver compelling presentations articulating value propositions and differentiation

5. Negotiation & Closure

  • Lead commercial and contractual negotiations to secure favorable terms
  • Closely engage with internal stakeholders to finalize deals and ensure successful conversion

6. Market Intelligence & Strategic Inputs

  • Track competitive landscape, pricing trends, and client expectations within B2B food services
  • Provide insights to strengthen service offerings and market positioning
  • Identify new markets, segments, and growth opportunities

7. Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Support account management teams with insights for expanding existing accounts
  • Build alliances with industry bodies and forums to strengthen market presence

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in B2B solution selling, ideally within Food Services / Facility Management / Hospitality / Catering / Corporate Services
  • Exposure to large, complex, multi-location deals (e.g., corporate cafeterias, industrial catering, healthcare food services)
  • Strong ability to engage and influence CXO-level stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in handling RFPs, bid management, and commercial negotiations
  • Financial acumen with experience in P&L ownership and pricing models
  • Tech-savvy with strong CRM and presentation skills
  • High ownership mindset, strong collaboration, and influencing skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Maharashtra
