Join our dynamic team as a Martial Arts Instructor! Under the guidance of our Recreation Coordinator, you ll have the opportunity to share your passion for martial arts—whether it s Tae Kwon-Do, Zen Do Kwon , Kickboxing, Muay Thai, or MMA—with participants of all skill levels and ages. Your expertise in demonstrating various patterns, kicks, and punching techniques will inspire and empower students on their martial arts journey.
With a strong understanding of breaking techniques tailored to each belt level, you ll play a crucial role in helping students enhance their skills and learn effective sparring with partners.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring ranges are as follows for Martial Arts positions:
- Martial Arts I: $17.06 – $19.44 per hour
- Martial Arts II: $17.76 – $20.11 per hour
- Martial Arts III: $23.09 – $25.86 per hour

Responsibilities
- Demonstrate and teach martial arts techniques across various styles to participants of different ages and levels.
- Demonstrate patterns, kicks, punching techniques, and breaking techniques tailored to belt levels.
- Inspire and empower students on their martial arts journey and foster a safe learning environment.
Qualifications – Martial Arts Instructor I
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Five years of prior experience as a martial arts student.
- Must have or obtain CPR, First Aid, Concussion Awareness and Universal Precautions certifications.
- Ability to be trained to teach beginning class levels.
Qualifications – Martial Arts Instructor II
- All of the above plus:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Three years of Martial Arts class instruction experience.
- Ability to take on the lead instructor role when the lead instructor is unable to attend.
Qualifications – Martial Arts Instructor III
- All of the above plus:
- Five years of Martial Arts class instruction experience.
- Ability to be the lead instructor for the program.
- Ability to assist in paperwork and coordination of special events.
