SYPAQ is seeking an Operations Officer to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing the successful identification, bid, win and delivery of the Advanced Technology Group (ATG) projects across the business unit and undertake project administration, team coordination and financial and performance reporting to support the Technical Director and ATG Project Managers.

Utilising your previous experience in Project delivery and or business operations the key deliverables of this position will include but not limited to;

Service Delivery –

  • Establishing new Contracts and Projects – Project initiation
  • Monitoring, review and reporting of ongoing project performance through the life of the project – Project Delivery
  • Ensuring quality delivery of services to clients, on time and within scope and budget – Quality Management
  • Delivering project administration and records in accordance with the clients’ requirements and SYPAQ’s QMS.

Bid Development Support

  • Administration of bid requirements, based on understanding of client requirements
  • Writing, Managing and Reviewing bid content including resource planning and schedule planning
  • Supporting bid pricing

Corporate Services – Support The Technical Director In

  • Planning for and conducting staff performance reviews and professional development activities

About You

  • A degree in Engineering, Science or Business
  • ICT, Engineering or Defence project experience
  • Experienced in supporting project delivery and/or business operations and commercial efforts to achieve planned business objectives
  • Proven experience in scoping, implementing and managing projects without direct line authority over project team members
  • Proven experience in outcomes focused approach to management of project and program issues
  • Australian Citizen, with the ability to hold and maintain a minimum of NV2 Security clearance.
