We've grown to 60,000+ customers by treating performance marketing and brand as the same craft, not opposing forces.

We're a small, fast-moving team. You'll have real ownership from day one.

Location

This is a hybrid role but depending on the right candidates we can work out a remote arrangement.

Role Description

We're looking for an operator to own our in-house paid acquisition end to end — Meta, Instagram and TikTok — and to be accountable for the numbers that actually matter: contribution margin, MER, CAC and blended profitability.

This is not a button-pusher seat. You'll think like a growth operator and a creative strategist: reading the account, spotting fatigue before it bleeds budget, briefing creative that converts, and scaling winners without breaking efficiency. You'll also hold our Google/Microsoft agency accountable to the same standard.

You'll also work AI-first. We run a modern, AI-heavy stack, and we expect you to use it as a force multiplier — producing more, and faster, than a traditional buyer could, without losing the taste that keeps the brand premium.

What you'll own

  • Paid social (primary): Full-funnel Meta + TikTok — campaign architecture, budget pacing, audience strategy, scaling and pruning. You own the day-to-day.
  • The P&L view: Accountable for CAC, MER, blended ROAS and contribution margin against clear internal guardrails. You optimise for profitable scale, never ROAS in a vacuum.
  • Creative strategy & testing: Brief, direct and iterate with our creative team. Build testing matrices, analyse hook / hold / CTR, and turn winners into a steady refresh pipeline. (Production sits with a dedicated Motion/Video Specialist — you set the strategy and the briefs.)
  • Agency management: Hold our Google/Microsoft agency to clear targets — review their work, catch waste, and make sure paid search/shopping pulls its weight alongside social.
  • Offers & funnel: Test offers with discipline (we favour held-price + gift-with-purchase over deep discounting), and push on landing pages, AOV and conversion efficiency.
  • Reporting & attribution: Weekly operator-style reporting. Own the blended view across Triple Whale, GA4 and Shopify, and translate it into clear actions — not dashboards for their own sake.
  • AI-leveraged execution: Use AI tooling to compress the work — rapid creative concepting and video iteration (Higgsfield / Kling, image gen), hook and copy variation at volume, AI-assisted performance analysis and reporting, and competitor/market research. We care about the output and the judgment behind it, not the buzzwords.

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years running paid media for a DTC ecommerce brand, ideally in premium / lifestyle / home / beauty.
  • Deep, hands-on Meta Ads Manager expertise. TikTok Ads experience.
  • A genuine creative eye — you can look at an ad and know why it works, and brief the fix.
  • Fluency in unit economics: CAC, MER, contribution margin, AOV, payback. You're comfortable defending a scaling decision with the math.
  • Strong with the stack: Meta, GA4, Shopify, and at least one blended-attribution tool.
  • AI-first by default — you already use AI tools daily to ideate, analyse and ship faster, and you have the judgment to know when the output is good enough to run.
  • Self-directed and remote-ready — you move things forward without being managed.

Nice to Have

  • Australian market experience, or cookware / homewares / appliances.
  • Klaviyo / lifecycle exposure.
  • Google Ads / Microsoft Ads literacy (enough to keep an agency honest).
  • Experience with AI creative tooling (e.g. Higgsfield / Kling, Midjourney or equivalent, ElevenLabs) and AI-assisted ad-ops or analysis workflows.

What success looks like:

  • 30 days: Fully up to speed on the account. You've audited every active campaign, killed obvious waste, and given us a clear read on what's working, what's fatiguing, and where the easy margin is.
  • 60 days: A live creative testing cadence with a real winner pipeline. Reporting rhythm established. Agency operating to defined targets.
  • 90 days: Holding or improving blended efficiency while scaling spend — and you've found at least one repeatable scaling lever (an underbudgeted angle, audience, or offer structure).
