Position: Photographer, Zillow Media Experts (Salt Lake City)
About the Role
Part‑time photographer for Zillow Media Experts in Salt Lake City. Capture high‑quality still photography, listing videos, 3‑D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography and social media videos to help real estate agents market listings. Work 10–20 hours per week, potentially more during periods of high demand, with the opportunity for full‑time employment in the future.
Responsibilities
- Take professional still photos, videos, 3‑D tours, drone footage, and social media clips of properties.
- Use advanced photography techniques and equipment to showcase unique property features.
- Coordinate with clients on site to understand their photography needs and guide them during sessions.
- Ensure all images meet brand guidelines and present properties accurately.
- Maintain and manage photography equipment, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.
- Organize, upload, and pre‑process captured media to meet deadlines and punctuality standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in real‑estate photography.
- Develop creative concepts to highlight each property’s unique selling points.
- Collaborate with regional managers, market leaders, photographers, and external partners to deliver cohesive visual assets.
- Adapt to future media, product, and processing changes.
- Represent Zillow Media Experts professionally at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience with high‑quality real‑estate photography, including exterior and interior shots, listing videos, 3‑D tours, and drone media.
- Strong foundation in photography fundamentals using DSLR or mirrorless systems.
- May need to obtain an FAA Part 107 drone license if required for assignments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to drive within a 60+ mile radius of Salt Lake City.
- Minimum 20 hours of availability per week; part‑time roles may work fewer hours on average.
- Strong internet upload speed (15
Mbps or higher) strongly preferred.
- Excellent customer service and professional communication skills.
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, independent, and punctual.
- Located near Salt Lake City.
Equipment & Transportation
- Professional full‑frame or crop‑sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera capable of 5‑bracket exposure and AEB.
- Wide‑angle zoom lens (e.g., 15–35mm full frame or 10–22mm crop).
- Ball head or geared tripod (video fluid head not acceptable).
Pay & Benefits
Hourly pay ranges vary by location: $22.90–38.50 per hour depending on region. Competitive base pay with incentive compensation is available.
