Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Public Relations Manager role based in New York, NY. The Public Relations Manager will plan and execute integrated PR campaigns, including developing messaging, crafting press materials, and coordinating media outreach to support clients in entertainment, sports, fashion, and corporate sectors. Daily responsibilities include pitching stories to journalists and producers, managing media lists, arranging interviews, and maintaining strong relationships with key outlets and influencers. The role also involves overseeing event-related publicity, such as red carpets, launch events, and award campaigns, and ensuring aligned messaging across all communication channels. The Public Relations Manager will collaborate closely with internal team members and clients to track coverage, report results, and continuously refine strategies to meet campaign goals.
Qualifications
- Strong Public Relations and Strategic Communications skills, with experience developing and executing comprehensive PR campaigns.
- Proficiency in Media Relations, including building and managing relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and influencers.
- Ability to craft compelling Press Releases and other media materials tailored to diverse audiences and platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills, with attention to detail, tone, and brand alignment.
- Experience in entertainment, lifestyle, or corporate PR, ideally within an agency or boutique firm environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, on-site setting.
- Comfort with media monitoring tools, coverage reporting, and basic analytics to measure campaign impact.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Collaborative mindset, professional discretion, and a client-focused approach to problem-solving and relationship management.
