This role is focused on elevating the digital presence of an animal welfare initiative by managing and growing its social media channels, including Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn. The successful candidate will transform provided footage into compelling short-form video narratives that engage audiences and drive real-world support for animals. You will oversee the entire content lifecycle, from ideation and editing to posting and performance analysis, while shaping the organization’s voice and building a storytelling approach that emotionally connects donors across the US, India, and globally.
Deliverables
- Develop and execute a content calendar tailored to each platform.
- Edit and produce short-form video content from supplied footage, ensuring high engagement and shareability.
- Write captions and post content across all designated social channels.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance metrics to optimize future campaigns.
- Collaborate on creative concepts that strengthen the emotional connection between donors and the animals supported.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and messaging across all platforms.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for organizations or brands, with a focus on video content.
- Strong video editing skills and proficiency with editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
- Demonstrated ability to craft engaging narratives and captions for diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with analytics tools for tracking social media performance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple platforms and deadlines.
- Passion for animal welfare and the ability to communicate that passion through digital storytelling.
- Experience working with international audiences is a plus.
- Availability for ongoing, remote collaboration.
