In this full-time position, you’ll operate independently to design and create intricate FX animations, procedural simulations, and particle systems. With at least five years of professional VFX experience, you will also handle lighting and rendering, mentor junior artists, and ensure the smooth hand-off of shots to other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create FX animation and procedural simulations
• Light complex elements and communicate progress
• Provide accurate time estimates for shooting tasks
• Mentor junior effects artists and oversee their development
• Attend dailies and project meetings regularly
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of relevant VFX experience
• Proficiency in Maya, Houdini, or similar software
• Solid communication and teamwork skills
• Understanding of simulation physics
• Python scripting and Linux experience
