About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Organic Social Designer to lead the creation of high-quality, platform-native social content across key organic channels.

This is a design-first, execution-heavy role focused entirely on organic social storytelling, engagement, and visual craft — not paid media or performance marketing.

The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of modern social content and a deep understanding of how to design for different platforms in a way that feels native, intentional, and visually elevated — not templated, resized, or repurposed.

Quality of execution, visual polish, and creative thinking are critical for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Social-First Creative Execution

• Design high-impact organic social content across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube

• Create assets such as static posts, carousels, multi-slide storytelling content, and social graphics

• Ensure all creative is platform-native, visually compelling, and tailored to user behavior per channel

Creative Ideation & Storytelling

• Develop original creative concepts and visual directions for social content

• Translate brand messaging into engaging, scroll-stopping visual storytelling

• Contribute ideas for content series, campaigns, and ongoing social narratives

Platform-Native Design

• Design specifically for how users interact on each platform (not one-size-fits-all assets)

• Stay current on social media trends, formats, and evolving design styles

• Ensure content feels native to each platform — not adapted from other channels

Collaboration & Communication

• Partner with social, brand, and marketing teams

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the brand’s organic social presence

• Clearly articulate design rationale and creative decision-making

Required Qualifications

6–12 years of professional design experience supporting digital marketing or social content

Strong portfolio REQUIRED showing organic social media design work

• Proven experience creating platform-native social content (not repurposed assets)

• Strong emphasis on platform-native execution, visual polish, and real organic social experience

• Strong ability to develop original creative concepts and visual direction

Experience in designing for organic social and platform-native content (Meta, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), with a clear understanding of what performs well in those environments.

• Ability to translate marketing briefs into engaging, high-quality visual content

• Demonstrated hands-on creative ownership (concept + execution, not just production work)

Expert-level proficiency in Figma

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

• Strong communication skills with ability to clearly explain design decisions and creative thinking

What Will Make Someone Stand Out

• Portfolio shows modern, elevated, visually polished social content

• Strong sense of typography, layout, composition, and design taste

• Experience creating content that drives engagement (not just aesthetics)

• Deep understanding of what makes content feel native on each platform

• Clear examples of creative storytelling and concept development

Portfolio Requirements (CRITICAL)

Candidates must provide a portfolio that demonstrates:

Organic social media campaigns

Platform-native content (not resized or repurposed ads)

Engagement-driven social creative (carousels, storytelling, series content)

• Evidence of creative ownership and concept development

Candidates should be prepared to walk through their creative process and design rationale in detail during interviews.
