As the Product Manager for Marketplace, you will play a pivotal role in driving sustainable growth, engagement, and profitability by developing and scaling marketplace strategies, capabilities, and experiences across our ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of customer experience, partner enablement, data, and growth, and requires a product leader with a strong analytical, customer‑centric, and value‑based mindset.

You will be responsible for innovating, incubating, and scaling marketplace enablers that improve the end‑to‑end marketplace flywheel—supply, discovery, conversion, fulfillment, and repeat usage—while strengthening trust, unit economics, and long‑term ecosystem value. Working closely with cross‑functional teams and external partners, you will ensure the Marketplace becomes a core CLV and commercial growth driver within Maya’s consumer platform.

NATURE OF WORK

In this role, you will primarily set and own the vision, execution, and management of Marketplace products, with accountability across the full consumer and partner lifecycle.

Marketplace Product Strategy & Management

  • Formulate, align on, and execute a comprehensive vision and strategy for Marketplace products that support overall business objectives and the broader consumer ecosystem
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve customer lifetime value, partner value, and marketplace unit economics across acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Establish clear KPIs and success metrics, and track progress against defined targets
  • Partner closely with Commercial teams to define growth levers (e.g., assortment, pricing, promotions, incentives, and partner funding) and translate them into prioritized product initiatives with measurable ROI
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Marketing, Operations, Risk/Compliance, and external partners to deliver scalable marketplace capabilities that improve discovery, trust & safety, conversion, fulfillment, and repeat usage
  • Define and align on product requirements, user stories, and prioritization decisions to support disciplined execution
  • Establish stakeholder governance and operating cadence to align priorities, surface risks, and manage dependencies and trade‑offs

Product Analytics, Insights & Experimentation

  • Analyze consumer behavior, transaction data, partner performance, and market signals to identify trends and opportunities that influence marketplace performance
  • Develop and apply data‑driven models to improve conversion, repeat purchase, supply health, fulfillment reliability, and returns/cancellations
  • Drive experimentation (A/B testing, funnel analysis) to continuously optimize the marketplace experience and unit economics
  • Use dashboards and data visualization to communicate insights, trade‑offs, and recommendations to stakeholders

Discovery, Segmentation & Personalization

  • Leverage data and AI to develop and evolve segmentation strategies across consumers and partners
  • Personalize marketplace discovery, recommendations, merchandising, and communications by cohort
  • Launch and scale personalization capabilities (e.g., ranking, search relevance, recommendations, targeted offers) to improve conversion and repeat usage

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
    • 6+ years of product management experience, preferably in marketplaces, platforms, or ecosystem products
    • Proven track record of launching and scaling marketplace or platform features with measurable commercial impact
    • Strong understanding of customer behavior, data analysis, and market research
    • Proven ability to lead through influence and coordinate multiple stakeholders
    • Ability to operate independently in fast‑paced, high‑ambiguity environments
    • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
    • Passion for building products that create value for customers, partners, and the business
