Mon-Thurs Onsite in Oakland Responsibilities
- Work closely with founder and the senior designer to develop measurement specifications and fits for all product categories in accordance with the brand aesthetic.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in product design or related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training with a focus on technical design and pattern making.
- 7+ years or more of technical design and pattern making experience at an in-house setting with deep expertise in woven bottoms and denim.
- Ability to adapt to change and handle multiple, competing priorities.
- Strong visual and verbal communication skills, able to effectively present fit intent to internal audiences.
- Ability to execute technical sketches in 2D using Adobe Illustrator.
- Knowledge and some experience with 3D and AI applications (CLO, basic AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity) a must, a plus if candidate has knowledge of AI tools for fashion design (The New Black).
- Proficient in Illustrator and Google Suite.
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally if required.
- Passion for the fashion industry and understanding of the landscape.
- Ability to understand and translate high fashion, on-trend fits and silhouettes from a technical perspective.
