Role Description The Social Media Coordinator is a contract, on-site role based in Surry Hills, NSW. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing social media content across platforms to build brand awareness and engage Bright’s community. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, sourcing and editing visuals, scheduling content, monitoring channels, and responding to comments and messages in a timely, brand-aligned manner. The coordinator will collaborate with marketing and product teams to support campaigns, highlight product features, and share educational health content. The role also involves tracking performance metrics, preparing simple reports, and suggesting improvements to content and posting strategies.
Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Content Creation and Social Media Marketing to plan, produce, and optimize platform-specific campaigns.
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging, and on-brand messages tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Candidates should possess Digital Marketing skills to understand audience targeting, analytics, and how social media supports broader marketing objectives.
  • Experience with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, LinkedIn) and social scheduling/analytics tools is beneficial.
  • Ability to interpret engagement data, adjust content based on insights, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is preferred.
  • Previous experience in health, wellness, or tech startups and relevant education in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.
