Social & Co Studio is a boutique social media and content studio based in Auckland. We work with real businesses to build genuine online presences – through intentional content, authentic storytelling, and strategy that actually makes sense for the brand.
We're looking for a Social Media Manager to join us on a casual/contractor basis, with the potential to turn into a permanent position later into 2026.
This isn't a role for someone who churns out generic content.
It's for someone who genuinely cares about the craft of social media marketing.

What the role involves:
• Planning, creating, and scheduling content across platforms
• Developing and executing social media strategies tailored to each client
• Monitoring analytics and optimising performance (SMO)
• Collaborating with clients and our team to deliver content that actually lands
• Maintaining brand consistency and voice across every post

What we're looking for:
• Proven experience in social media management and strategy
• Strong writing skills – you know how to adapt your voice for different brands and audiences
• Confident with analytics tools and platforms
• Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple clients without dropping the ball
• You create content that feels human, considered, and on-brand — not AI-generated fluff
• Canva, CapCut Pro, or similar tools? Even better
• Video/reel editing skills and experience with brand collaborations are a big bonus

A few important things:
• Must be based in or near Auckland (in-person content shoots are part of the role)
• Have access to iPhone 16 or later
• Contractor/casual setup: Remote-first, flexible, and built around the work getting done well
• A degree in Marketing or Communications is great, but your portfolio speaks louder
