Position: Technical Developer 2 at Arc’teryx
Shape the future of innovative apparel at Arc’teryx as a Technical Developer 2 in North Vancouver. Your expertise in product development will ensure seamless production readiness from concept to commercialization.
In this one-year on-site contract, you’ll collaborate closely with a focused team of Product Developers and Designers. You will manage product development, creating tech packs, coordinating prototypes, and communicating effectively with our factory partners.
Your role impacts the entire lifecycle, ensuring products meet both design intent and supply chain requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create tech packs communicating specifications
• Communicate design comments to factories clearly
• Execute product development from concept to commercialization
• Provide detailed product information for sourcing
• Compile construction and BOM information for planning
Requirements:
• 5+ years in product development or technical design
• Strong knowledge of raw materials and sourcing
• Proficient in PLM and Adobe Creative Suite
• Excellent communication skills with factories
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable
