Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Videographer role based in Kathmandu. The Videographer will plan, shoot, and produce video content that showcases Nagmani’s products, brand stories, and promotional campaigns for online and offline channels. Daily responsibilities include operating cameras and related equipment, setting up lighting and audio, capturing high-quality footage at the office, retail outlets, events, and product demonstrations. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and product teams to develop concepts, organizing raw footage, and supporting basic post-production tasks to ensure videos align with brand guidelines and timelines. The Videographer is expected to maintain equipment, stay updated on visual trends, and contribute creative ideas to enhance the company’s visual communication.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in video production, including planning, shooting, and basic post-production for marketing and product-focused content.
- Proficient camera operation and handling of different camera types and lenses, with attention to framing, focus, and composition.
- Knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor shoots, and practical experience in setting up lighting for product and promotional videos.
- Hands-on experience in shooting video in diverse environments (office, retail, events) using cameras and related accessories.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic color correction and audio adjustment.
- Good understanding of visual storytelling, branding, and creating content suitable for social media and digital platforms.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, manage time effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant training or education in film, media, multimedia, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in commercial or product videography is an advantage.
