The Visual Arts Teacher will create and implement lesson plans across various media including drawing, painting, and mixed-media. This role involves conducting hands-on workshops, guiding students, and managing classroom activities collaboratively. You’ll provide a supportive and inclusive environment that nurtures creativity and artistic exploration among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design age-appropriate visual arts lesson plans

• Facilitate daily arts workshops and demonstrate techniques

• Encourage creativity and adapt projects for all skill levels

• Supervise students and manage classroom transitions

• Document student progress and support program evaluation

Requirements:

• Be aged between 15 and 30 years on the start date

• Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) required

• Must be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a refugee

• Availability for full-time, in-person work for 8 weeks

• Commitment to mandatory training and punctuality
