Job Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support our expansion across the EMEA region. This remote role involves working directly with prospective clients to understand their automation challenges and partnering with our internal solution teams in Europe and China to craft winning AMR solutions. The role involves significant travel (~50%) across the region and is ideal for someone passionate about innovation, logistics automation, and high-impact customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
– Customer Engagement: Serve as the first technical point of contact for prospective clients across EMEA.
– Solution Discovery: Identify customer pain points and qualify opportunities for AMR-based automation.
– Team Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Quicktron’s solution engineering teams in Europe and HQ (Shanghai) to develop robust technical proposals.
– Pre-Sales Support: Help craft compelling technical proposals, system layouts, and high-level designs that align with customer needs.
– Customer Advocacy: Build trust with key stakeholders and support long-term strategic relationships.
Qualifications
– Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or similar field.
– Experience:
- 3–7 years of experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales for warehouse automation, robotics, or logistics tech.
- Prior exposure to AMR, AGV, or warehouse execution systems is preferred.
– Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of logistics automation workflows and robotics integration.
- Familiarity with CAD and data analysis tools; programming skills (e.g., Python) are a plus.
– Soft Skills:
- Strong cross-cultural communication and customer-facing abilities.
- Analytical thinking with data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable in a startup setting.
– Languages:
- Fluent English and Mandarin are required.
- Additional regional languages (e.g., German, French, Arabic) are an advantage.
